With many classes starting the first week of June, start planning a fun-filled summer now. Woodmere offers a wide variety of classes and workshops for Children and Teens, from Pre-K Art Workshops, including Creating A Bird Costume and Creating A Life-Size Self-Portrait, to Garden Artist Book & Papermaking. Or try out Myths & Monsters, creating fantastic creatures, masks, shields, and vessels after learning about myths, fables, and trickster tales from various cultures around the world.

And don’t miss out on the engaging Summer Community Art Project, where art becomes the common thread for building community. Every summer, children and teens from different neighborhoods in the Philadelphia region meet at Woodmere to create a collaborative work of art. Working alongside professional artists, students design and construct an outdoor art installation that is incorporated into the Children’s Butterfly Garden.

The Saturday Night Jazz Summer series begins

June 8th and the following week features a special JUNETEENTH Celebration on June 15th. Tickets are now available and are selling quickly! While ticket sales are capped at indoor capacity, if Mother Nature cooperates, tickets will be for sale at the door when the concert is confirmed outside.

Saturday Night Jazz is offered in partnership with LifeLine Music Coalition. WRTI is a partner for Music at Woodmere.
