Storytime Book Trail at Morris Arboretum

 

On Wednesday, August 16, between 4:30pm-7:30pmtake a family walk and read a book at the same time as theWissahickon Valley Public Library and the Free Library of Springfield Township present a Storytime Book Trail at Morris Arboretum. Step-by-step and page-by-page your family can experience the joy of discovering a new book together.

This event is part of thePennsylvania One Book, Every Young Child Early Literacy Program.  All children in attendance will receive a copy of the book to be presented, Daniel Finds a Poem, while supplies last.

After the planned activity, let the 92-acre garden of lovely vistas, majestic trees and beautiful fountains serve as an inspiration for your family to create your own stories.  Free with admission

 

Morris Arboretum is a 92-acre horticultural display garden that features a spectacular collection of mature trees in a beautiful and colorful landscape.  The official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, effective 1988, Morris Arboretum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and accredited by the American Association of Museums.
