Caryn will be presenting her latest jewelry designs. She has been making jewelry since the early 1980’s. Her work is a playful mixture of various precious metals, raw and polished semiprecious stones, found rusted metal and beach glass, which she bezel-sets and surrounds with patterns that have become her signature contemporary hieroglyphic mark making. The symbols are forged and stamping into polished sterling and 14k gold. Her work hints of tribal fetishes body adornment: a modern twist on wearable talismans and reliquaries.
