October is “ArBOOretum” month, and the scarecrows are back at Morris ArBOOretum & Gardens! More than 40 scarecrows will be on display throughout the ArBOOretum through Halloween. The theme this year is “The 1990s” in celebration of our 90th anniversary as a public garden.
Morris Arboretum & Gardens, 100 E. Northwestern Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118 (PLEASE NOTE: main entrance is ACROSS THE STREET from Bloomfield Farms). Meet at the Welcome Center to be escorted by golf cart into the gardens.
The Scarecrow Walk features more than 40 scarecrows designed by members of the public and are on display throughout the Morris through Halloween. Visitors will vote for their favorite scarecrow online through October 21. The top three scarecrows win a cash prize—top prize is $250! The Scarecrow Walk is FREE with general admission.
