Jazz icons, pianist Bud Powell and saxophonist Dexter Gordon collaborated together in 1963 to record the legendary album Our Man In Paris. Pianist, Jeff Knoettner and saxophonist, Mike Clay pay tribute to the album’s bebop flavor and expressive ballads with performances of Night In Tunisia, Stairway To The Stars, Willow Weep For Me, Scrapple From the Apple, and others.
Due to high humidity and a forecast of rain, this concert on 7/13 will be held indoors. The museum will provide seating. Refreshments are not permitted inside the building.
