Morris Arboretum’s New Saturday Morning Live Tour Series Continues June 2

Morris Arboretum’s new Saturday Morning Live Tour Series continues on June 2, at 11am. Led by experienced guides, these tours will highlight a different feature of the garden on the first Saturday of each month May through December 2018 at 11am.  The June tour, Hidden Gems, will showcase little known garden spots, a combination of structures, sculptures, trees and vistas. Many are off the beaten path or concealed to most visitors, while others are considered “hidden in plain view.”  Guides will reveal something different about these garden gems–an atypical angle in viewing them or a little-known story about them, such as the Key Fountain, pictured here. The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half. Visitors will be walking over some uneven ground and cover quite a bit of territory, so dress appropriately.  For more information, visit www.morrisarboretum.org.  No registration is required.  Tour is included with garden admission.

Morris Arboretum is a 92-acre horticultural display garden that features a spectacular collection of mature trees in a beautiful and colorful landscape.  The official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, effective 1988, Morris Arboretum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and accredited by the American Association of Museums.  For more information, visit: www.morrisarboretum.org
