Morris Arboretum’s Garden Discovery Series Presents: Feathers, Flight, and Fun

Morris Arboretum’s Discovery Series concludes for the 2017 season on Saturday, October 7, 11am-3pmwith Feathers, Flight, and Fun.  Have you ever wondered what a feather looks like under a microscope? Visit the Discovery table and learn everything you ever wanted to know about feathers, including how they work, what they do, and how they grow.

 

The Garden Discovery Series is held on the 1stSaturday of each month from April through October. Participants explore little known parts of the garden, learn secrets of nature, and create something magical. Garden Discovery Series events run from 11am-3pm and visitors may stop by anytime.  These events are included with regular garden admission and are fun for everyone.  For more information, visitwww.morrisarboretum.org.

Morris Arboretum is a 92-acre horticultural display garden that features a spectacular collection of mature trees in a beautiful and colorful landscape.  The official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, effective 1988, Morris Arboretum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and accredited by the American Association of Museums.
