Morris Arboretum’s Garden Discovery Series Continues with Sink or Float Science
On Saturday, August 5, 11am-3pm, Morris Arboretum’s Discovery Series presents: Sink or Float Science. What makes an object sink? What makes it float? Get a little wet and wild as we test buoyancy predictions at the Discovery table.
The Garden Discovery Series is held on the 1stSaturday of each month from April through October. Participants explore little known parts of the garden, learn secrets of nature, and create something magical. Garden Discovery Series events run from 11am-3pm and visitors may stop by anytime. Morris Arboretum is a 92-acre horticultural display garden that features a spectacular collection of mature trees in a beautiful and colorful landscape. The official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, effective 1988, Morris Arboretum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and accredited by the American Association of Museums.
