DETAILS:

• Saturday, October 18th, 9AM–12PM. There is no rain date; we will still go in a light rain (as we have a number of times) and only cancel in the event of storms.
• Friends of the Cresheim Trail will provide trash bags, gloves, and a small handful of trash grabbers, but feel free to bring any of the above if you have them.
• Philadelphia Streets Department will have Cresheim Valley Drive closed from Germantown Avenue south to Allens Lane, a distance of 0.9 miles. (We do the northern portion to Stenton Avenue in the spring.)
• Philadelphia Parks & Recreation will remove the trash. (Unclear as of now whether it will be that day or the following Monday. We’ve seen both instances at this event.)
• We’ll meet at the Cresheim Valley Pergola, corner of Cresheim Valley Drive & Germantown Avenue. (Read a brief history on FOW’s website.)
