Morris Arboretum’s Summer Concert Series Returns for Three Thursday Nights in August
Sounds of summer at Morris Arboretum include more than crickets chirping! Get your picnics and blankets/chairs ready for three fun evenings of XPN Kids Corner concerts presented by WXPN 88.5FM. Concerts are on the first three Thursdays nights in August. You’re sure to be on your feet and feeling the rhythm with our three specially chosen bands, all while enjoying the beauty of Morris Arboretum’s Azalea Meadow.

Joanie Leeds wants her songs to reflect that life is a joyful adventure. And with an eclectic melody mix paired with funny and thoughtful lyrics, her tunes will definitely make you smile. Join this Indie Rocker for an evening of original and traditional songs that will leave kids and parents grabbing for the invisible microphone! The student band from Rock to the Future will open the show for Joanie with a performance at 5:45pm. Rock to the Future provides music education to Philadelphia’s underserved youth at no cost to them or their families.
