On Wednesday, May 14th, the Chestnut Hill Community Association is proud to partner with the Whitemarsh Foundation to present the newest chapter of its educational series titled Jewel of the Wissahickon – Rewilding the Dixon Meadow”.

Join award-winning wildlife photographer and author Glenn Mason for a photographic journey of spring flora and wildlife, followed by a walk in the Preserve.

Learn about butterflies of the bird world, how the Foundation supports the Bluebird and Tree Swallow NestWatch research program, and why the rewilded Dixon Meadow is such an important link in preserving the local ecology of the Wissahickon and surrounding habitats that define our region.
