Arts & Eats Opening Reception
June 6th | 5-8pm
Artist Talk by Agathe Bouton & Polly Barton at 6:30pm
Gravers Lane Gallery presents Echoes in Thread: Woven, Printed and Stitched, opening June 6th with a reception from 5–8 PM and an artist talk at 6:30 PM. Featuring Lucy Arai, Polly Barton, and Agathe Bouton, the exhibition highlights fiber-based works rooted in tradition, craft, and cultural resonance. Drawing on influences from Japan and Burma, the artists use stitching, weaving, and printmaking to explore memory, heritage, and materiality. Thread becomes both medium and metaphor in this poetic conversation of texture and meaning. |
|
A meditation on heritage, resilience, and our need to connect through craft, Echoes in Thread brings together Lucy Arai, Polly Barton, and Agathe Bouton. Their works-woven, printed, stitched-echo timeless traditions. |

Thank you to everyone who came out to The Home & Garden festival this Sunday and stopped into the gallery or participated in our zip-tie jewelry making activity! It was a beautiful day spent on the Avenue connecting with the Chestnut Hill community.
