opening the holiday season instrumental harmonies and blessings with Shawn Hennessey and Mark DiFilippo

Shawn Hennessey is a Multi-World Percussionist and Songwriter.

He has traveled to Ghana, Istanbul, Haiti, Tahiti, and all over the United States performing music.  He leads 2 very different projects:  Leana Song, a neo-traditional Afro-Cuban and Ghanaian drum and song ensemble, and Hennessey Bonfire, a worldly-groovy original music combo. Shawn teaches world percussion at Germantown Friends School, and has been adjunct faculty at Temple University, Curtis School of Music, and The Unversity of Pennsylvania.

Mark DiFilippo is a long-time yogi, kirtaneer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music is always an offering to the divine. The founder of ReturnToYourBreath.com, Mark is also a holistic psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher who uses sound and vibration in his healing work.
