Friends of the Wissahickon will host a public meeting on January 25 to discuss progress on its Sustainable Trails Initiative, its signage program and other upcoming projects in 2017.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Social Room of the Chestnut Hill Friends Meetinghouse, located at 20 East Mermaid Lane, Philadelphia, Pa.

The Sustainable Trails Initiative is a multi-year project that will make the 50 miles of recreation trails in the Wissahickon a more environmentally and socially sustainable system. This project is being implemented in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. In addition, there will be an update on the new park wide signage system and a question and answer period.

For more information, contact Friends of the Wissahickon Outreach Manager, Sarah Marley, at 215-247-0417, ext. 344, or at marley@fow.org.
