Friends of the Wissahickon’s 8th Annual All Trails Challenge

Public Start on Sept. 5

Explore and Support Wissahickon Valley Park

PHILADELPHIA – August 23, 2023– The All Trails Challenge (ATC), hosted by Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW), is back for an eighth season. FOW members got a head start earlier this month and now it’s time for everyone else to get going. The start date for the general public is Tuesday, September 5.

What’s the challenge? To cover the 50+ miles of trails in Wissahickon Valley Park. Whether on foot, bike, or horseback, participants go at their own pace and schedule over 10 weeks. Venture beyond your usual routes and try new ones, while immersing yourself in the healing power of nature and contributing to FOW’s ongoing trail improvement work to keep the Wissahickon clean, beautiful, and accessible.

Challenges receive special swag and have the chance to compete for prizes. (All participants must register with a minimum of $50 raised or contributed to be eligible to compete for any prizes.) To keep Challengers on course, FOW will provide weekly route recommendations.
