Friends of the Wissahickon Valley Talk: Maps of the Wissahickon

Journey Through the Park’s Past Through Maps

Join Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) for the next Fall Valley Talk on Wednesday, Nov. 10 when Instagram Editor Brad Maule and Executive Director Ruffian Tittmann take a journey through the Wissahickon Valley Park’s past through maps. They will explore maps of the Wissahickon, from the earliest days of Philadelphia and the young Fairmount Park Commission to FOW’s official maps, from printed trail maps to the Map App.

Maule’s writing and photography have appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia magazine, and numerous other publications in print and online. He was the founder and editor of Philly Skyline and a contributing editor for Hidden City Philadelphia. Currently, he serves as communications manager for Mt. Airy CDC. Brad has managed FOW’s Instagram account since 2016 and has been obsessed with maps since childhood.
