Chestnut Hill on Ice 2023
Masterfully crafted ice sculptures will be displayed along Germantown Avenue on Friday, January 27, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Saturday, January 28, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Join us at Chestnut Hill Brewing Company Friday night to watch renowned ice sculpture artist Peter Slavin of Ice Sculpture Philly have a live ice carving demonstration from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM. Cozy up in the courtyard with Isabella Sparrow and watch a live blacksmith demonstration from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Then head to the Ice Sculpture Garden at Laurel Hill for another live ice carving demonstration from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM and warm up with a drink from Stateside Vodka, who will have a pop-up event selling cocktails and bottle service. Multiple businesses will have winter sales, food, drink, and chili specials on Friday night.
The fun continues through Saturday. Come back to the Hill starting at our Winter Activities in the Blue Lot, including a new feature this year – Street Curling from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Ice Sculpture Philly, the world’s first performance ice sculpting company, is returning to the Avenue and combines action, adventure, humor, drama, and audience participation to create an unforgettable experience. Watch Peter and his talented crew with another live ice carving demonstration from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Ice Sculpture Garden at Laurel Hill. Then head back to the Winter Activities in the Blue Lot to warm up at our Ice Bonfire, which will be lit at 5:30 PM.
