Education and Community Outreach Coordinator at Prevention Point

Elvis Rosario attended Drexel University and Philadelphia Biblical University, but his story suggests his true education came as a victim of the opioid crisis himself.  While in prison, Mr Rosario broke his own addiction on the floor of his prison cell with no medical assistance.   For the past 20 years he has worked for several community service organizations educating potential victims of sex crimes, drug addiction, HIV, violence or bullying, as well as treating the victims.  For the past four years, Mr Rosario has been in his current position at Prevention Point, and in 2016 he was personally credited with saving 34 people from overdosing.
