Borrelli’s Chestnut Hill Gallery is pleased to present our first exhibition of 2021, featuring the lush paintings of local artist Deb Hauser.
Deb Hauser’s oil paintings of ripe fruit, garden vegetables and lively florals are the end result, a harvest, of her time during the pandemic shutdown spent in her studio while the world around her paused and held its breath.
Deb Hauser was raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and attended The Tyler School of Art at Temple University. She spent her earlier career as a sculptor and ceramicist, creating beautiful tiles for The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, a historic turn-of-the-century pottery in Doylestown, PA and later founding her own ceramics company, Acorn Pottery.
She then later turned to painting, studying under Richmond, Virginia artist Curney Nuffer, who guided her as she refined her technique and developed a unique style.
Join us Saturday, October 16th at 5 pm for a lovely evening to celebrate Hauser’s latest body of work and to enjoy wine, light snacks and warm company and to reconnect with Chestnut Hill’s creative community.
*To protect our community, attendees will be required to wear masks inside the gallery. We appreciate your cooperation. |
