Creative sisters collaborate for a Chestnut Hill performance/trunk show at Bohemian Pink.
Birdie Busch is a Philadelphia recording artist. Betsy Cook is a local fashion designer with her own clothing line, National Picnic. They are sisters. The two will be appearing on November 19th in Chestnut Hill with a performance-slash-trunk show at Bohemian Pink, a pop-up shop on Germantown Avenue.
This isn’t the first time the sisters have mixed song and style. Years ago National Picnic set up shop at the Philly Opry, an annual concert created by Birdie, at Johnny Brenda’s in Fishtown. Entrepreneur Monika Schermer was there, and recently recalled the collaboration and proposed a “sister act” event at her newly opened shop.
Birdie’s performance will begin at
8 pm on November 19, 2013.
National Picnic’s trunk show clothing will remain on sale at Bohemian Pink through Saturday November 23.
