Save the Date: On Tuesday, February 25th at 5:15pm, we’ll welcome Kulu Mele (African drumming and dance ensemble) to the library. Established in Philadelphia in 1969, Kulu Mele is the the nation’s longest-enduring African dance company. Kulu Mele embodies West Africa, Cuban, and African Diasporan traditions, along with American hip hop, and brings African dance, drums, and culture to communities throughout our city.
