7th Annual Hoops Madness 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
presented by the Chestnut Hill Community Association
Saturday, March 23, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Springside Chestnut Hill Academy

Inspired by March Madness, the NCAA college basketball championship, Hoops Madness offers kids and adults a chance to play half court, 3-on-3 games of basketball and participate in a variety of shooting contests. The tournament will take place on March 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, 500 West Willow Grove Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118. Players should check in starting at 8:30 am.

Players are encouraged to pre-register and form teams of four (three players and a substitute) or they can be placed on a team the day of the tournament. All players will receive a CHCA Hoops Madness t-shirt and are eligible to participate in the 3-point, foul-shooting and half-court shooting competitions.

Families and friends are also encouraged to fill the stands and sidelines. Throughout most of the day, six games will be going on at once and, in between games, players can warm up and practice their shots. Matt Paul Sports (http://www.mattpaul.us) will be sponsoring the event and providing basketballs, referees and coaches to help players in between games. All proceeds benefit the Chestnut Hill Community Association.

The price for children 6 to 18 years old is $18, for adult CHCA Members $20, and for non-members $25. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is located at 500 West Willow Grove Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19118. See google map. http://goo.gl/maps/Jhsvk
