Whitaker Wind Sculpture: Double Helix Horizontal Large

Lyman Whitaker is an internationally renowned kinetic artist. LEOPOLDgallery has placed his works with collectors all over the world. The sculptures are hand-crafted for balance, durability, and high winds. Each one lasts for decades. Collectors include Disney World, the Dallas Arboretum, the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, and private collectors worldwide. Morris Arboretum hosted an exhibit of 60 Whitaker sculptures in 2017.
This design incorporates a nautical reference. Note the repeated shapes of boat hulls. They have placed these with boat-lovers around the world.
The sculpture comes pre-assembled, with complete installation instructions.

Sally King Benedict is in her 12th year as a professional artist. She and her work have been featured in major publications including Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, Domino, Garden & Gun, and Southern Living, among others. Sally gains inspiration from daily life in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, where she lives with her husband and their 6 year old son. She started her career in Charleston, South Carolina, where she earned her BA is Studio Art from the College of Charleston in 2007.
